Breast Cancer Awareness Ride 2013

This years ride was a real bonus! Torrential rain for the previous 2 days made us think that we would have to cancel the event. Unbelivably, the morning saw the rains disappear and the sun came out. Except for standing water in a few places, the ride went off without a hitch. About 30 riders participated in this specialty ride for breast cancer sponsored by Trek Bicycles and Cole's Bicycles.

Everyone had their coffee or tea, juice, and donuts, and by 10:15 they were ready to ride. The 20-mile ride was again the popular ride, with only a few riders on the 10-mile route.

It's great to see riders from last year and the new faces that show up. Together, we raised over $1000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Everyone is looking forward to next years ride.
