Breast Cancer Awareness Ride 2012

This years ride turned out even better than we expected. 35 riders participated in this specialty ride for breast cancer sponsored by Trek Bicycles and Cole's Bicycles.

The morning started out rather brisk at about 35 degrees, but after everyone had their coffee or tea, juice, and donuts, they were eager to ride. The 20-mile ride was the popular ride this year, with only a few souls taking the less demanding 10-mile route.

We had a big lunch waiting for everyone after the ride. Door prizes were plentiful and everyone went home with something.

It was great to see riders from last year and we had a number of new faces in the crowd. Together, we raised over $1000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Everyone is looking forward to next years ride.
